Wednesday, May 1, 2013 - Back at Cape Lookout:)

We left Salem bright and early because we wanted to stop at the Tillamook RV ship before going the13 miles in to the campground.  We needed a propane tank cable and a new fuse for the water heater.  They hooked us up in no time at all, so we had time to stop in at Fred Meyer for groceries
and a water refill.  We have a two gallon water dispenser which is fun to use at home, but challenging to keep filled.  Also needed a new garlic press since the ceramic one I liked fell out of the cupboard while we were driving and broke -  It's always something!!!!

We arrived at Cape Lookout on an absolutely gorgeous day for Oregon,

checked in to our site, got all hooked up, met with Ranger Travis and got our assignment - 3 cabins for today.  This time we did not need any training, so we jumped right in.  It took us about 2.5 hours because the third cabin had a guest who was slow checking out - she had been in the cabin for 3 nights, had been visiting with friends who stayed in the yurts and they all cooked in her cabin.  It was the least clean cabin we have had so far.   They were all over 70 and took the hike out to the end of Cape Lookout yesterday.  We plan on making that trip this time while we are here.
