Wed., May 8, 2013 - Humidity disclosure

So remember the de-humidifier we bought at Walmart on our way in to Cape Lookout on April 30?  We have it sitting on a table up front between the driver and passenger seat.  It is about 18 " high, 12" wide and 9" deep.

 

It is pretty quiet as it works.  Good thing, because it works 24 hours a day and is pulling in more than a gallon of water each day.  This is water that would otherwise be pooling on the windows and seeping down into the floors and walls like it did in February before we caught on that it was a problem.  Gratefully, we caught the water issue before it did any damage in Feb.  This time, we are dry as a bone, but shocked at how much water is generated by this machine.
