It was a stormy night and morning. We staying in Chatty at berth in Muskegon Walmart again this AM, then drove to Harbour Towne Marina to use the guest showers - compliments of LaVonne and Daryll - thank you very much. We arrived just in time for a rowdy thunderstorm
which we enjoyed while making our lunch.
We drove the 132 miles to Midland, MI and stopped along M46 to visit Townline Lake
and Lakeview Campground where I went camping on all the three day weekends during the summer while grouping up.
This is where I learned to swim, waterski and row a boat -
what a trip down memory lane - glad we had time to stop.
Mike liked it too - he wanted to see the place he has heard so much about from me, Laurie and Sue.
We arrived in Midland about 7:15 and got settled at the end of the court of cousin Linda and husband Paul's home for the night - we are working on the arrangements for Mom's memorial service tomorrow.
