Sun. June 15, 2014 - Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's day to all the special Fathers in our life.  Mike heard from Eric by phone from Kings Beach, CA and from Curt via Skype from Sheffield England.  I called to speak with Dad, and got Connie and Wendy in his room, but he was sleeping.

Meanwhile, back in Ludington, the sun rose AGAIN over Hamlin Lake

and we enjoyed the morning at the Sculpture Park next to the Channel

Then walked out to the end of the pier

To lean against the lighthouse base

 

and enjoy the view

 

Then we visited with Irv, singing buddy of Dad's

before we moved on to Muskegon and checked in to Hoffmaster state Park for one night.

Dang, the weather has been nice!
