Wed. June 11, 2014 - Happy Birthday, Curt, Goodbye to Kalamazoo area

Curt was on our mind today, as June 11 is a very important day in all our lives - 26 years ago today he joined us!  Today is the day he and Sarah bought plane tickets for them to fly to India on July 9.

Back in Michigan, we spent the morning working in the library, then got an early lunch

 from the hot dog food cart in Delton.

  Next, we went back to the lake house to pack up and head on out for the next phase of our journey. We are very glad we got the chance to be in the Kalamazoo area, and visit with friends from the past.

 

Phase # 2 of our Michigan leg of the journey takes us to the Grand Rapids area where we spent the evening visiting with some of the people we worked with at Touche Ross in Grand Rapids back in the early 80's
