Tues. Aug. 27, 2013 - Jeep trouble - again!!!!

Not a good day.  Last night, after unhooking the Jeep from the motor home in the Thunder Valley parking lot where we plan to stay for the next three nights, it would not start.  Today we had it towed to Auburn Autohaus to confirm our fears -the transmission on the Jeep is shot.  Boo Hoo!  We went to Chevy's for dinner and worked on a Pros and Cons scenario chart to decide that we are not going to decide whether to fix it now, but will drive without a tow vehicle to Oregon on Thursday as planned and rent a vehicle for the month of September.  That will give us some time to calmly research and discuss our options before making a decision.
