First stop this morning was the Newport Farmer's Market
Where we got lots of good fruits and veggies
Which all fit in the trunk of our cute little car! Good thing we found a hearty farmer's market - it goes with our newly established goal of eating only whole foods for three days.
Next stop was the Newport harbor where the Newport Fisherman's Wives organization was having an open house at the docks.
We joined a 60 minute walking tour to get some education about the different types of fishing vessels
and how they are outfitted to specific types of catch.
Here we listened to this tuna boat captain describe his operation.
