We left Jenny's RV park about 8:30 and got breakfast at Katrinas. It was already hot, and there were not very many people out for breakfast like usual. We visited the Auburn farmers market, then went to see Mom Tomczak for a short while then drove to Sacramento. I got to Dad's place in time to share dessert with him at his lunch time - birthday cake for another resident - Yummy.
By now it was SO HOT, we decided to beat the heat and spend the rest of the afternoon at a coffee shop - Peet's - on Howe Ave until about 5:30 when we hit the road and drove north on I-5 for a couple hours to ROlling Hills Casino near Corning where we stopped for the night. It was like an oven indoors, (but lovely outside as the sun was setting), so we went into the casino for dinner then turned on the air conditioning for sleep.
