Mon. July 15, 2013 - Coos Bay exploration

Today was an official day off, so we drove south through Reedsport, over the Umpqua River and on south to Coos Bay.  There we found a new library  to work for a while...  not too impressive from the outside, but very accommodating.

   
                      then went on to explore three local State parks:    Sunset Beach,  William Tugman

                                                     and Umpqua Lighthouse.  Very cool!

We are checking out the parks to see if they have strong internet and to get an idea if we want to apply to host in this area another time.  Sunset Beach is off the list, but the other two were good possibilities.
