Feb. 9, 2013 - Day 40: Our neighborhood

Today was a pretty nice day - basically dry. Here is a picture of our "neighborhood". We are the first rig on the right. The other three in view are our co-hosts for the month of February.


And here is a picture of our local view - less than a quarter mile walk from our neighborhood. The tide is pretty high here - you can't walk on the each at high tide - the water comes right up to the rocks. Ranger Travis told us the park is making moves to relocate the first row of sumertime camp sites away from the dunes because eventually the ocean will reclaim them.
