Not too much turn-over today - we were assigned only 2 yurts. Takes less an hour. One yurt was kind enough to leave us a table tip. Mike and I think our assigned work is a fair trade for what we receive, (the right to hang out in this beautiful park for a month) so the tip was appreciated but definitely unnecessary:)
We decided to take a holiday afternoon drive up the coast about 10 miles to the northernmost physical feature of this park's management responsibilities - Cape Mears - where there is an historic lighthouse. It was windy and cold, so we read the sign boards by the parking lot, but did not take the 1/4 mile walk out to the end of the cape to get a closer look of the lighthouse.
