Sat. April 12, 2014: Busy day at the park

There was a line-up this morning before the park aide arrived - those hoping for a first come first serve campsite for tonight.

We worked camp host until 1:30, then had our first lunch out

at the park taco shop:  Bull Taco

Food is pretty good, but the view is spectacular.  People come in to the park to eat and enjoy the view - there is 20 minute parking to accommodate - making the kiosk traffic quite a bit heavier than it was at Carlsbad.

Today the Bull Taco stairway was closed for renovations - volunteers and donated construction labor.  This park has more stairs down to the beach even though the beach is shorter than Carlsbad - and all stairs are in need of repair - the ocean air is brutal on wood.
