Sun., June 8, 2014 - Mini Parchment High School reunion

Another beautiful day led to another boat ride and a visit from Sue and Greg's daughter Nikki and her family during the early afternoon.
Then we broke from the lake house and re-gathered at Main Street Pub on Gull Road for an evening of strictly Parchment High School talk

with an additional four friends  - Colleen, Robin, Wayne and Scott.

What a fun night - thanks, Gretchen for getting the ball rolling and reserving the room, and thanks Sue for inviting the other girls of our group - Robin and Colleen.
Scott was a year behind the rest of us, but well involved as he was one of my brother's best friends, and Wayne was a friend to all and my first love.

Back at the lake after our mini-reunion, it was life as we know it for Mike and I.
Nothing is routine and tonight we are fortunate to still be parked at Sue's lake house.
Now we are alone as Sue and Greg went home to prepare for their work week.
In the calm and quiet, we made note of the MANY physical similarities this lake house has with the house on Woodhaven that we sold to embark on this full-time motorhome adventure.
This makes me happy to be here because it is very nice, and happy to realize I do not miss our own version back on Woodhaven Drive in Lake of the Pines, CA.
