Thurs. May 1, 2014. Moving day

It still took us nearly three hours to get off the site and out of the park. It is HOT today. Much better for beaching than packing to move.  Co-hosts Pete and Pat didn't leave at all because they are driving east to Las Vegas and there is a Santa Ana high wind advisory.  We are going north, and have a commitment  so we stopped to say goodby and drove off about 12:45

Didn't leave town though until 4:45 because we took Chatty in to the tire store for a rotation, inflation and checkup.

We ended up with two new tires on the back end

while we had a bite to eat at Robertos.

It was a slow go through LA during rush hour with no issues, and we stopped at our favorite layover at the top of the  Grapevine at a Flying J truck stop. I made Chinese Chicken Salad for dinner and we crashed after leaning from Mary via text that Sam got voted off American Idol stage tonight.
